Trump Scorches Bloomberg for Dropping Out of the Presidential Race

President Donald Trump is speaking out in the wake of former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s announcement to suspend his presidential campaign.

On Wednesday, Trump took to Twitter with a series of tweets sharing his reaction to Bloomberg’s announcement. The president mocked Bloomberg as he noted the former New York City mayor’s massive investment into his presidential campaign. Trump also criticized Bloomberg’s decision to support former Vice President Joe Biden.

He tweeted, “Mini Mike Bloomberg just ‘quit’ the race for President.”

“I could have told him long ago that he didn’t have what it takes, and he would have saved himself a billion dollars, the real cost. Now he will pour money into Sleepy Joe’s campaign, hoping to save face. It won’t work!”

Trump, who described the presidential race as the “most embarrassing experience” of Bloomberg’s life, went on to offer what he thinks will happen next.

The president believes Bloomberg will also fire Tim O’Brien and all others who played a part in his presidential campaign.

Trump’s tweets came shortly after Bloomberg’s announcement. As previously reported on IJR, the billionaire businessman made it clear that he was leaving the race for the same reason he entered — to defeat Trump.

He tweeted, “Three months ago, I entered the race to defeat Donald Trump. Today, I’m leaving for the same reason. Defeating Trump starts with uniting behind the candidate with the best shot to do it.”

He concluded by confirming his intent to support Biden, “It’s clear that is my friend and a great American, [Joe Biden].”

Trump also took a moment to respond directly to Bloomberg’s tweeted announcement offering a revised version of it.

He tweeted, “Mini Mike, “Three months ago I entered the race for President to defeat Donald Trump, (and I failed miserably!).”

  1. To paraphrase James Michener’s “Hawaii”, there’s nothing wrong with kicking and scarring a downed opponent . q.v. Whip Hoxworth and his exploitation of native Hawaiians. It’s a teachable moment (thank Barry) that they were inferior, wrong, and stupid.

Oh wait, according to haters like Phyllis, those who do not think or vote like her are illiterate and stupid. Not sorry to prove that wrong.

What part of demonizing “others” and their intellectual abilities is not inconsistent with Whip Hoxworth’s arrogant elitism (and savagery)? Is Phyllis endorsing and her attitude typical of Dims, giving the violence of Antifa a “pass”?

Make American sane again? Start arresting and prosecuting the violent Left.

    1. Wait until the Dims choose someone not Bernie. Will we cities in flames and people dragged out and set afire? q.v. Bernie’s actual campaign personnel.

Any “revolution” is going to go badly for the Bernie Bros. They are outnumbered and outgunned. Can any one envision the ConfusedOne actually in combat? He can’t even honestly tell what he believes.

  2. Nothing like a sore winner.

Yet, Bloomers, in his arrogance thought he could “buy a nomination”. $500M is less than a year’s investment interest to him. He had (in his world) nothing to lose. Being uber-wealthy is a mind-bending reality we will never know.

On the plus side, no one need suffer his incessant ads.
