Trump Did Not Pay Income Tax for 10 Out of 15 Years: Report

According to a new report by The New York Times, President Donald Trump did not pay income tax for 10 out of 15 years in the run-up to 2016.

The Times reports that the year Trump won the presidency, he paid $750 in income tax.

The reports comes after the Times obtained some of the most sought over documents in media circles: his tax return information stretching back two decades.

The report also says Trump says that the president owns hundreds of millions of dollars of assets — but does not disclose his true wealth. Additionally, the Times reports that the documents did not disclose any previously unknown connection to Russia.

It also said that the Trump Organization is facing severe financial hardships.

In a statement to the paper, Alan Garten, a lawyer for the Trump Organization, said, “Most, if not all, of the facts appear to be inaccurate.”

The Times also said Garten asked to see the documents the report was based on. However, the paper withheld the actual documents to protect its sources.

In a statement, Garten claimed, “Over the past decade, President Trump has paid tens of millions of dollars in personal taxes to the federal government, including paying millions in personal taxes since announcing his candidacy in 2015.”

Speaking to reporters at the White House on Sunday, Trump dismissed the report, “It’s fake news. It’s totally fake news. Made up. Fake.”

“I paid a lot. And I paid a lot of state income taxes. New York State charges a lot and I paid a lot of money in state. It will all be revealed. It’s going to come out,” Trump added.

He also repeated his previous assertion that once his years-long audit is complete, he will release his tax returns.

  1. Wd it looks like Pinhead gets a new nickname again. How does Walter Mitty sound? He does fit the character as he lives in his own fantasy world and can not see facts as facts.

  2. Ed ot looks like Pinhead is now playing genius tax auditor. What a Sir Walter Mitty he is!

  3. “These left wing activists comtinue (sic) to come out with stories that are either totally false or slanted to make conservatives look bad.” ed

ed is very confused. This information has NOTHING to do with a left-wing press. Come on, ed, that kind of argument won’t fly, here.

“The tax code allows for deductions to offset income! Everybody with a brain or a smart lawyer uses these.” ed

Yes, ed, WHEN DONE LEGALLY. What came out in THIS release of details that I don’t remember as being made clear (to me) is that when King Donald The Loser mentions that he is involved in a tax re-assessment, he means that he has been locked in a decade-long battle with the IRS over his $72.9m tax refund he claimed, and received, after declaring huge losses. Apparently, some red flags went up and the IRS started an investigation YEARS before his election. So there is absolutely NO connection with this investigation and His Majesty’s presidency. None whatsoever. If His Majesty loses this case, though, he will likely have to pay around $100M. But that will be the LEAST of his worries, right? His Majesty isn’t all THAT rich, he and his businesses are bleeding money, too. He used to personally own well over $300M, but within 4 years, he will PERSONALLY be responsible for paying back an estimated $461M! And, depending on just to who he owes that large some of money (Russian mobsters, etc), I wouldn’t want to be in HIS royal shoes! Can you say “garage sale” or “cement shoes”?

Ivanka is involved in this tax fraud, I mean tax case, too. She was paid handsomely ($747,622), maybe TOO handsomely, as an, ahem, “consultant”. Uh, oh.

So, ed, you can whine all that you like about information being released about the crooked Dear Leader, but facts are facts. His Majesty is in deep shit whether he wins this case or not, and he knows it. You might want to keep this in mind the next time you try to defend the loser.

  4. Where woud we be without the NYT? These left wing activists comtinue to come out with stories that are either totally false or slanted to make conservatives look bad. The tax code allows for deductions to offset income! Everybody with a brain or a smart lawyer uses these. Even progressives!

What? Say it ain’t so! King Donald The Loser BRAGGED to Cult-45 that he didn’t pay taxes for years because he was so smart. They cheered him on, so why is His Majesty denying it now? Because it just makes his look callous and to be a hypocrite! Color me surprized.

“It’s fake news. It’s totally fake news. Made up. Fake.” King Donald The Loser

Details exactly like this came out a few years ago. You carried forward losses from previous years. So what? It is a simple, legal accounting process, so why deny it? Doing so makes you look so stupid, Your Highness!

So which is it? Is King Donald The Loser as shrewd as he PRETENDS to be or is it all fake news? Release your taxes and let’s see, buddy. 😉
