Trump Extols Sanctity of Life in Remarks at the March for Life

President Donald Trump touted the sanctity of life in remarks made at the annual March for Life rally in Washington, D.C.

Trump’s remarks on Friday mark the first time a president has spoken in person at the annual rally.

“It is my profound honor to be the first president in history to attend the March for Life,” Trump said.

“All of us here today understand an eternal truth,” Trump said, adding, “Every child is a precious and sacred gift from God. Together we must protect, cherish, and defend the dignity and the sanctity of every human life.”

“From the first day in office, I have taken historic action to support America’s families and to protect the unborn,” Trump said, touting his pro-life agenda.

Trump also ripped into Democrats for their “radical positions” on abortion access.

“Democrats have embraced the most radical positions taken and seen in this country for years and decades, and you could even say for centuries. Nearly every top Democrat in Congress now supports taxpayer-funded abortion, all the way up until the moment of birth.

He concluded his remarks, touting the dignity and sanctity of life:

“We know this; every life brings love into the world. Every child brings joy to a family. Every person is worth protecting. And above all, we know that every human soul is divine. And every human life, born and unborn, is made in the holy image of Almighty God.”

Conservatives touted Trump’s appearance, calling it a “proud day for the pro-life movement.”

Pictures on Twitter showed thousands of people in attendance:

  1. Someone missed a great opportunity to remove evil from America at the time just prior to your birth confuction. Your parents ( probably 2 old guys) should have had an abortion.

  2. following on that thought, how dissuasive would that be to illegals?

show up, get penned as the unwelcome invaders you are AND we kill your children?

THAT would be a hugely persuasive message NOT to come here.

Too many people do not have the strength to do what is needed.

    1. You are still one very sick puppy. You need to seek help.

  3. thought exercise: IF the children murdered by abortion were from south of the border and held in cages a la Obozo, would you be still be screaming about it?

Note that I don’t deny the stupid the chance to murder their children, but they also have no standing to object to how other children are treated. Or not.

Let’s make them “comfortable” Northam-style, then decide whether to kill them or not.

Too much consistency or logic demanded?

    1. I’m wondering how this equates to the Socialist scumbags who support and want to legislate infanticide of American babies.
