Melania Trump Shares About Her Experience With COVID-19

First Lady Melania Trump is recounting her experience with COVID-19 and urging Americans to stay healthy amid the pandemic.

“It was two weeks ago when I received the diagnosis that so many Americans across our country and the world had already received—I tested positive for COVID-19. To make matters worse, my husband, and our nation’s Commander-in-Chief, received the same news,” Trump wrote.

She noted their son Barron tested positive for COVID-19 after originally testing negative.

According to her, he exhibited no symptoms.

“In one way I was glad the three of us went through this at the same time so we could take care of one another and spend time together. He has since tested negative,” Trump said.

She detailed the symptoms she experienced including body aches, a cough, headaches, and feeling tired most of the time.

Trump revealed she chose to go “a more natural route in terms of medicine” including vitamins and healthy food.

She expressed appreciation for White House physician Sean Conley and his team.

Trump explained when her husband was taken to Walter Reed to be treated for COVID-19, she reflected on the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have been affected by the illness.

She encouraged Americans to live the healthiest life they can by eating a balanced diet, breathing in fresh air, and taking vitamins.

“I am happy to report that I have tested negative and hope to resume my duties as soon as I can. Along with this good news, I want people to know that I understand just how fortunate my family is to have received the kind of care that we did,” Trump wrote.

She added, “If you are sick, or if you have a loved one who is sick—I am thinking of you and will be thinking of you every day. I pray for our country and I pray for everyone who is grappling with COVID-19 and any other illnesses or challenges.”

  1. I wasn’t “wrong”, Ken.

It depends on the timing. When did he first test positive? When did he last test negative? As far as I know, that info is not public yet and even kids don’t get rid of the Trump Virus in just one day.

  2. In fairness, Melanie did post mask wearing promotion on her Twitter account while her husband was mocking those who wore masks. Unfortunately, she was photographed without a mask on several occasions–RNC convention held in WH Rose Garden among unmasked and non-social distancing attendees listening to her speech and days later her husband’s speech. She was also photographed unmasked both inside and outside the WH reception for the SCOTUS nomination. Her attempt at promoting the safety of the American people would have been MUCH more effective had she demonstrated the leadership we all know her husband is incapable of providing. Melania should have at least given a better performance at “Be Best.”

Thinking about the millions of us who cannot afford the tens of thousands that most of us will have to pay if we are unfortunate enough to get infected by the Trump Virus? Yeah, I bet. Not like the hundreds of thousands that your family received in free, social medicine from one of the best hospitals available, right?
