Melania Trump Bashes ‘Christmas Stuff’ in Newly Surfaced Audio: ‘Who Gives a F**k’

First Lady Melania Trump did not hold back when sharing her thoughts about the White House “Christmas stuff and decoration.”

In newly surfaced audio shared by Trump’s former close friend and adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff during her CNN interview on Thursday night, the first lady is heard talking about planning for the Christmas decorations at the White House.

Talking to Wolkoff, Trump said in July 2018, “I’m working…my a** off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a f**k about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?”

The first lady continued, “OK, and then I do it and I say that I’m working on Christmas and planning for the Christmas and they said, ‘Oh, what about the children that they were separated?’ Give me a f**king break.”

Her remarks were in reference to the backlash received at the time over the Trump administration’s policy on separating children from their parents on the U.S.-Mexico border.

“Were they were saying anything when Obama did that? I can not go, I was trying to get the kid reunited with the mom. I didn’t have a chance — needs to go through the process and through the law,” Trump added.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper responded to the audio during Thursday night’s interview with Wolkoff, “Talk about a war on Christmas. It’s funny that she would be leading that.”

  1. Oh, I am sure that they read the articles, or they at least read them until they run up against something that goes against their sensibilities or dogma.

When IJR showed how many views an article got, the number could be huge, bigger than the memberships here. So there can be/could be/used to be tens of thousands reading an article, but there are only a tiny handful that actually post comments. There is no way of knowing how many actually finish reading a whole article, though. If posting style is a signal of their comprehension, a lot don’t finish reading them.

  2. I just can’t get over the fact that I’ve been hearing about how intelligent and worldly she is, how she speaks so many languages, etc. My wife moved here at the same time as Melania, and probably (but I can only assume) spoke less English than our First Lady. Yet somehow, my wife, while she still has an accent, doesn’t sound like she has marbles in her mouth and can form proper sentences. Melania doesn’t sound like she’s been in the US for as long as she has. I’d love to see how “fluent” she is in all of those other languages.

My wife can swear better, too.
