Lindsey Graham Indicates Senate Republicans Will Keep Investigating the Bidens

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said he thinks the question of alleged corruption surrounding Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden isn’t going away any time soon.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Graham was asked if Senate Republicans would continue investigating Joe Biden — who is locked in a close race for the Democratic presidential nomination — and his son’s position on the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings.

“If you’re going to run for President and you were in charge of the Ukrainian anti-corruption campaign as vice president and your son’s sitting on the most corrupt company in the country while you’re trying to clean up the country — yeah, that’ll come up.”

Graham is one of the Republican senators who has been pushing for investigations into the Bidens over allegations of corruption. In the midst of the Senate’s impeachment trial, Graham decried the lack of scrutiny Biden received over his dealings with Ukraine, as IJR has previously reported.

Additionally, he said that “somebody” should look into the Bidens and suggested that Senate would open several investigations into the Bidens.

In a letter dated March 1, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) signaled he wanted to force a vote on the first subpoena in an investigation of Hunter Biden’s role on Burisma’s board and whether the company sought to leverage him for political purposes.

Republicans have suggested it was improper for Hunter Biden to have a position on Burisma’s board while his father was serving as vice president and had a role in shaping the administration’s Ukraine policy.

However, Biden has denied that there was anything wrong with the situation.

During an appearance on “The View,” Jill Biden said the attacks on Hunter Biden have been “really hurtful” and said she did not expect her political opponents to make such attacks.

However, Biden said he did not want to attack President Donald Trump’s family because “presidents can’t hold grudges.”

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the gunning down of Bonnie and Clyde was hurtful to their parents, but they were guilty as Hell, and so is Joe and Hunter Biden.
