Bolton: It Would Be an ‘Interesting Statistic’ to Compare Trump’s Time Watching TV to His Time in the Oval Office

Former National Security Advisor John Bolton says President Donald Trump forms his opinion by watching cable news and listening to people he trusts.

During an interview on CBS News’ “Face The Nation,” host Margaret Brennan asked Bolton, “Does the president and his thinking get more shaped by television or government advisers?”

He responded, “I think it’s a combination of television and listening to people outside the government that he trusts for one reason or another.”

“I think if you could clock the amount of time he’s spent actually in the Oval Office versus the amount of time he spends in the little dining room off the Oval Office with the cable news networks of one form or another on — it would be a very interesting statistic,” he added.

Throughout Trump’s presidency, many reports have focused on his television watching habits and the amount of time he spends in the Oval Office.

In April, the New York Times reported that Trump would watch hours of cable news and arrive at the Oval Office sometimes as late as noon.

However, Trump has denied that he watches much television and argued that he is too busy to be watching television.

  1. Squat milkfart is posting under one of his other names again. I wonder how many names he posts the same nonsense under.

  2. Someone sounds rather disgruntled and the left and their media mouth pieces are more than happy to give his grumpy looking ass all the air time he wants.

  3. Another disgruntled employee, badmouthing his former boss. I remember this happening with regularity on the ‘Apprentice’.

  4. Wonder if he ever questioned Ohomos time playing golf. Or his trannys millions of our dollars wasted on her globetrotting.

  5. I think Bolton has turned into a disgruntled employee. How many times has he been fired? I think he is just trying to sell books. He is a jerk.

  6. What a moron and back-stabbing bastard he is! He is allow to throw out anything and everything he chooses with zero collaboration.

  7. “Trump has denied that he watches much television and argued that he is too busy to be watching television.” Article

Who in their right mind would believe him? Who? All of the evidence, from His Majesty’s tweets, his royal public comments, and insider comments, points to a heavy TV addiction. Considering the influence from it, it is an added risk for us and the country.

  8. John seems to be fixated on Trump. It seems that he can’t believe Trump fired him. “He”, the ultimate in foreign affairs, the Henry Kissinger of the new millennia…how dare Trump fire him! We’re beginning to see why, John. You thought that you were bigger than life…but, as it turns out, you’re just a small person!
